    Ok so the wife and I were looking for some where to go to lunch. Found this gem and we were both glad we did. The place was busy I know why. The staff was super friendly and had a cool vibe. The food was so good and well seasoned. The fish was so yummy and so were the ribs. The fried oysters were good along with the hush puppies. Collard greens were some of the best I have had. We definitely will be back to this place and bring some friends.

    I am supposed to comment about "Food, Service and Ambiance". OK, my comment is: Terrific. Like another commenter, I loved their Fried Okra as a side. My main reason to go there is for the Fried Catfish. Terrific and "Southern" to a "T". I feel sorry for Reno/Sparks citizens that have not experienced the warm and friendly atmosphere at M&M's, but sorrier still for them because the missed the main reason for trying out an unfamiliar restaurant in the first place: hunting for that "Diamond in the Rough" This is such a place. Don't miss it. Tired of franchised food, same old same old? This one break that mold. New Orleans style food here in Sparks, America!

    Came w/ my daughter and I ordered the fish dinner. Catfish: out of control. Greens: will fw your grandma's. Cornbread: you gon eatcho' co"n bread? Mac&Cheese? The Mac&cheese here at M&Ms is the best that I've ever had in my life. And I'll say that in front of my mom, with conviction. Stop reading reviews. They only open until 6 on the weekend so y'all better get immediately into your vehicle and come out to Sparks. Not now but RIGHT now! Greatest and only authentic soul food in Reno. Don't deprive yourself of the greatest meal you've had all month. Ok? I'm 51 saying this and have lived everywhere from the east coast, down south to the west coast. So get dressed and let's go?!

    This place is too good to be true! The food is southern soul food style that has flavor and richness! The service is always pleasant they are very lovely! The environment to me is a traditional cafe with a twist and it shows all over! I got the bbq rib dinner with Mac n cheese which omg the sides are to die for haha. Come check them out! Been here twice now and the food is always delicious! Oh wait I also got their lemon cake and wow oh wow so soft and sweet and yummy and it was homemade!!! Please run here!
